Sir Isaac Newton
Sir Isaac Newton was born on Christmas day in 1642 in Woolsthrope, Lincolnshire. When he was barely three years old, his mother sent him to his grandmother’s in order for her to remarry and raise a second family with a wealthy rector from nearby North Witham. After her second husband died, she came back in 1653 and Newton was taken from his studies to fulfill his duties as a farmer. Fortunately, he failed and returned to school to prepare for his entrance to Trinity College, Cambridge. From humble beginnings, he had a great impact in the fields of physics, mathematics, and alchemy. Without doubt, Sir Isaac Newton is one of the greatest minds the world has ever known.
